Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated UAS Test Engineer to support flight test operations. This is a hands-on role that provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in UAS development and testing while working alongside industry experts. The position is ideal for students or early-career engineers looking for part-time experience, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare RC Aircraft for testing, ensuring all components are flight-ready.
• Manage test logistics, including setup the day before and coordination on the day of the test.
• Assist with basic IT setup and embedded software work related to flight hardware.
• Support system troubleshooting and data collection during tests.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in testing procedures.

Desired Qualifications:

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent (current students are welcome to apply).
• Experience building and flying RC airplanes.
• Familiarity with embedded software and Linux computer setup (Aerospace, CS, or EE background preferred).
• Ability to drive within the Bay Area for test operations.
• Availability during mornings and evenings as needed for flight tests.
